Midget
Federal Tryouts
Tryouts will consist of drills encompassing
fielding (Outfield and Infield), hitting, and
base running. We will be looking at pitching and
catching also.
Please be aware that all the drills and
exercises that we will be implementing are
geared toward the advanced skilled player who
has a firm grasp of the game and possesses the
skills and desire necessary to play at the
highest level of competition. Tryouts are open
to all registered 9-10 year olds but we ask that
you, the parents, use discretion in deciding
whether or not this is the right level for your
player.

Please arrive early to warm up

players must be wearing a protective cup.

Please wear long pants (baseball pants or
warm-ups okay). No shorts.

Please wear your tennis shoes. All
players must bring their cleats.

Dress for the weather.

will be on the football field for drills (no
metal cleats will be allowed on the turf field)

Bring cleats for possible baseball field
drills, if the weather and fields permit.

Bring batting helmets for the hitting cage.
-
Bring a drink as there will be time to
re-hydrate during evaluations.
